Fond damn memories. I had a Sunday morning paper route all through college and work started at 3 AM so I would just stay up and watch TV. No cable yet, so that meant Elvira. So, so many B-movies, waiting to head out to work in the dark… And also this goddamn film called Tombs of the Blind Dead that I still remember with absolute terror 30 years later. Thanks, Elvira! She was wonderful company.

Didn't she come out as a lesbian a few years ago and a handful of elderly incels started a flame war because they thought she was a "lier"?

I saw a young girl at Target yesterday that had a very similar top on.

Yeah, you're the inappropriate one here, bud.

Nope. Sorry. If you're still thinking about a "young girl's" cleavage and discussing it with the internet an entire day after you saw it, you're fucking gross.

How is he inappropriate for just stating what he saw?

It’s appropriate to post this pic, but not to reference something exactly like it? Hahahahahah

Yeah & Vampira

I ran into Vampira's daughter early on , on Usenet and she had a bitter opinion of Cassandra. A very colorfully expressed bitter opinion...

Not 1980. 1980s, but not '80 specifically.

Circa 1980 (around 1980) maybe 81 maybe 82.. but probably 1980 🤘🏽

Elvira wasn't even created until mid-1981, after Maila Nurmi backed out of a Vampira revival for the '81-'82 season and the producers of that show decided to file the serial numbers off and go forward with the show with a new actress and a "new" character.

So if there's one fact that is indesputable, it's that this pic is definitely not from 1980 because there was no such thing as Elvira in 1980.

That’s a very well written and thought out explanation! Not that serious though!..Circa 1980( around 1980) I’m just going off what the site I got the picture from explained it to be from.. I’ll go with early 80s then! Sorry for the confusion 😂

The genesis of Elvira is interesting, and probably a bit obscure since Elvira overtook Vampira in popularity by a wide margin. So it's always good to get that in there when possible.
