Masterpiece. Exactly what you’d expect from a superior military power going up against a bunch of disheveled terrorists.

It's excellent because it's based on the best star wars game ever made.

All the imperial characters in this short are more believable than the silly, outlandish imperials in Squadrons game.

I think it's gorgeous. Would love to see Star Wars stories told in this style.

Oh, I know. I mean like a 6 hour trilogy or something.

Truly amazing, even more when you think of the fact that a single dude made it. It had really cool animation and I love how the Imperials are portrayed. Would be amazing if we got a series like this

A wonderful fan film. It was show of the determination and dedication of imperial pilots. I’m a republic/rebels fan but I still enjoyed the film.

It rules. I'd love to see more star wars animation in general, and this style in particular. Give us a whole movie of anime dogfights plz!!!!

Yeah I thought it was absolutely superb. Far better than the absolute trash that was the force awakens, which came out the same year

Voices were added in the 2017 remastering.

Here's the 2017 version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9GRYa_3gno

The OG music was way better. We need a mix in-between haha

Awesome. I would watch several movies worth of this.

Absolutely elegant. Captured the immense power of the Empire, combined with the terror of why the Rebels were so scared of ever being found, while also showing the vast superiority tactics employed by TIE pilots and their squadron leaders. Only thing I have to say is, unless there was a specific plan in place, a TIE Interceptor, TIE fighter, and TIE bomber wouldn’t break formation as badly as they did. Too risky for single man, unshielded fighters. Other than that though? chef’s kiss literally TIE fighters main job: keep them away from the main Destroyer group until the Destroyers can reach maximum firepower on the much less powerful support cruisers.
